This GIT spent much of day at eye appointment (yearly). What she and Dearest One thought was that I had the first appointment. As they are a year apart and appointments are made when one leaves, we had not been informed that he had changed the way his appointments were scheduled later that year. We were in a line of people scheduled for about the same time. Sigh...

The waiting room was almost completely packed. I took a chair. Husband was running a quick nearby errand and when he came back he ended up in a single chair behind a door and next to the coat rack. That's not bad! I figured he could sleep while he waited for me :)

When we were finally finished and we were back in the car I asked him if he had heard the lady at the other end of the room talking. She and a friend and occasionally another patient were talking. Or rather... she was talking and they were trying to talk. Talk talk talk talk talk talk talk... and more talking. I had brought a book with me but her voice kept piercing into everyones ear and even though I was enjoying the book I could barely concentrate. She was very nice and Very Talkative... have I said that enough? No.

Well, we are in the car on the way to do more shopping and I asked husband if he had heard that woman since he was much further away than I. Yes, he had heard her.

I mentioned that she talked about as much as I do at home (he is the strong silent one ;)
Husband replied, "No"
"No!!! I questioned him. "What do you mean, No!"
Bless his heart:)
He replied, "No, she didn't talk about as much as you do at home." "You are not even near her league!"
What a Dear Sweet Man :)

but... he was right... she can talk... parrots would have a difficult time around her ;)
