Goodness.

How bizarre.

The people who think Christmas is under attack are a bit out of touch with reality, imo- unless they mean the actual spirit of Christmas- like peace, goodwill, charity- that sort of thing. Then yes, I'd say it's under attack- both by folks who want menorahs up (and are willing to sue to get their way) AND by the freaking defenders of Xmas, willing to scream because someone wished them happy holiday instead of Merry Christmas. I am always awed, every year, by the concupiscent wallowing in all that is "christmas" one can observe in malls and stores across the country. Christmas muzak blares from every speaker. Santa leers from every sign. And I am always saddened by the pettiness some people manage to focus on at this time of year. It's a season of goodwill, for God sake, and people want to fight over it. Makes no sense at all.

Hmmmm...Scrooge's words become prophetic. At the detention center for prisoner in the WOC (War on Christmas) we can make sure the eash prisoner is:

“boiled in his own plum pudding and buried with a stake of holly in his heart”

Third World nations such as India and China have had their experience with religious and sectarian rife 50 years ago. These nations realized that it would get them nowhere and they changed. Today, they are considered the most progressive nations as evidenced by their booming prosperity.

The US on the other hand is sliding backwards into areas such as election fraud, religious rife etc. etc.
