you mean the same church that did so much wrong already? do you blame the responsible folks with genuine obligations?

So you do believe in collective guilt.

Well, I don't. I believe that individuals are responsible for their own actions.

Nevertheless, the alleged "Catholic" priests that are toadies for the Chicom government are not, in fact, in the Roman Catholic heirarchy. They're peddling fraud.

They may be good Protestants, but they are not Catholics.

Nothing wrong with being a Protestant, but there are, in fact, real Catholic priests in China, who have been forced underground because your government doesn't protect freedom of religion.

Protection of freedom of religion doesn't mean protecting what the majority wants, it means protecting minorities, as well.

It's easy to please the masses by giving them what they want. Very hard to protect the few against the many. Very hard to protect the weak against the strong.

But individualism isn't an abtract concept, nor is protecting the rights of all individuals.

It's the sine qua non for a civilized nation.

Not that any country has ever gotten it all right, all the time, but at least in real civilized countries there is legal redress for the weak and the few and the minorities. Justice may come slow, but it will come.
