ALAN SMITHEE - celebrate, simplicity, relaxation* Wonderful words to live by for today. Being the benevolent employer that I am, I (and my 3 partners) decided to keep the office closed today, so it will be a lazy day eating leftovers, reading and possibly watching movies on TV. I tried a new recipe last night for the Yorkshire Pudding that is a mainstay of Christmas dinner, along with the standing rib roast. I made the servings individually, in muffin tins. They were wonderful. I think I'll use this technique from now on. My cards are going out today. Think of them as "New Year's Cards"

I'm vegging big time today. Still in jamies and going to take it real easy. Had nonstop fun Christmas Eve and Christmas day. Did lots of cooking and serving food. Cleaning and playing with kids and grandkid. Managed to take a walk with them and just enjoyed the heck out of having a full house. In slow down mode today.
