They said that when the Nasdaq dropped from 5k to 3.5k on the way to 2k.
Also remember that about 75% of the potential Real Estate Buyers we had a couple years ago are out of the market now and many are about to have to dump.

The big jump in Real Estate came in 1979-1980. Then plateau and down pretty good into 1992 with RTC. Started up again in 1996. At least a 15 year wait in there. The difference now is that the run up was magnitudes higher and much more in the way of toxic loans.
So maybe some don't have 15 years left to go through the cycle again.
