Meanwhile GM is still busy trying to go bankrupt by ignoring the fact that consumers no longer want large fuel-inefficient vehicles. GM is still fighting yesterday's war with yesterday's products> Isn't it amazing? Tracinda was investing in GM, pushing for significant changes that the company sorely needs, and they told him to take a flying leap. The mgmt in that company is so entrenched and so reactionary, its going to take something powerful to get it to change its downward spiral.
