While you try to figure out what exactly is your point, perhaps you should think of why you don't know any of the 35 million Americans allegedly going hungry each year. I don't know any. Considering that number is > 10% of the US population they are hiding pretty well. Or perhaps by "struggling with hunger" the article meant 35 million Americans were dieting? -------------------------- There has been significant disagreement about poverty in the United States; particularly over how poverty ought to be defined. Using radically different definitions, two major groups of advocates have claimed variously (a) that the United States has eliminated poverty over the last century; or (b) that it has such a severe crisis of poverty that it ought to devote significantly more resources to the problem. en.wikipedia.org Anyway, what's your point?
