Suspect the big "revelation" this spring will be a little known fact outside of this thread: "housing prices have fallen, are falling, and those who waited until spring to relist at ridiculous prices will be the laughing stocks of their communities. The homebuilders are sucking what little life was left in the market trying to get rid of excess inventory.

People I talk to are in denial about housing prices dropping, even though many know of someone who sold for less. They are comparing current sales to a sales last summer and suggesting the current prices being paid are an anomaly. It's amazing how often this is happening.

With this...continued rise in the TNX I imagine the next few months will be crushing for those hoping this spring will bring the housing market rebound.

Have no fear, the bond market is due to reverse just in time to hose the housing bears/shorts.
