According to the Dubai Labour Force Characteristic Survey 2006, released yesterday by Dubai Statistics Centre, some 87.9 per cent of the total population of Dubai falls in the 15 years and above age category, which reached 1,204,817 by mid-2006. The total population of Dubai reached 1,370,714 by mid-2006. This includes 78 per cent male and 22 per cent female.
