yes and they also allowed banks to renegotiate fixed rate loans which killed the farm economy in my area. Guys woke up one morning to find that their 4% farm loans were now 18%

Yes and mortgages went to 21 %...it took years to correct that one small thing he did. To this day, many department stores still charge 21 or 22% which is outrageous...considering they get their money for about 3.

We also had gas lines for miles because of the idiot.
