In his mind, as long as we're still there, losing, he didn't LOSE the war HE started on HIS watch. The guy after him will have to LOSE. He doesn't give a damn about the soldiers, the money, the Iraqis - all that matters is his stubborn, stupid pride. Gerald Ford was big enough to admit that a lost war was LOST. Our chimp Nero is not.
