Yes, when you study Washington beyond the usual, it is amazing his service to his country and dedication to his duty as he saw it.

George Washington's War by Robert Leckie.

He thinks it is one of the best he has read about Washington (he's read several) and that it makes it clear that we are just plain blessed to have had President Washington at the time we did.
