I was wondering the same some time ago. To me it was like parking some excess money into blind pools.

If you asked me what is really thrilling - it is the stalinist, totally collusive behavior of the funds having invested into the SPACS.

This is the result of investors having decided about the fate of a planned aquisition well in advance, and because they do so, they can trade against outside investors with a decent information advantage: The terminal price of the warrants - be it one, or zero...
