I have been away from the markets so I am catching up. How far would the SPX have to retreat to make you think the rally is finished? Just asking, as I also do not believe it is over. The NDX is another matter. We have had 2 Friday closes below 1760. The previous week we had a weekly reversal and honored it this week. I am still long QID or short the NDX. I have to think this index is headed lower. You talked about the wedge on the SMH. I do see that but if it closes below 33 a couple of times, I would have to be threatened with bodily harm before I would buy it.

Yes, I agree it's best to wait til next week... but now next week is now only a three day trading week (markets closed Tuesday in honor of Gerald Ford), so I can't wait to see almanac statistics of what THAT means historically! Happy New Year, y'all....
