Sultan, I am going to my cousins place tomorrow to celebrate Eid. He is doing the Qurbani tomorrow morning, and asked me to bring my digicam along. It will be an interesting day, I am sure.

Like you said, he does Namaz often, but has only a rough idea of the meaning of the actual words - being a muslim from India, arabic is not his language, but its because of faith he says words that he does not know.

Kids love Eid.. Twice a year but particularly Eid ul Adha is where they get Eidi ..which basically means, family members, friends etc. give some money to Kids.. Usually any where from 5-10 bucks so kids by the end of the day have raked in a tidy amount and of course are thrilled.. LOL..

I'm sure they enjoy the money! they probably go to McDonalds the next day to have a big mac, supersized fries, and a large diet coke :-)
