Not only did Ford pardon Nixon, he pardoned him before any charges were brought, absolving him of all crimes before the people even knew what the crimes WERE. We were all cheated by Ford's actions, and he set the stage for the clown that believes himself a near - dictator today. The only saving grace of the whole thing are the Nixon tapes, publicly available, which give us all a listen to what went on in the Nixon WH. Well worth reading, probably the ONLY glimpse we'll EVER get of what goes on there.
