If some states wanted to take away the rights of black people, I don't think I'd want that either.

Taking away a person's rights is against the Constitution, regardless of skin color. The question is whether the constitution guarantees the right to an abortion.

That said, there are some rights so fundamental I do not think we should allow the mob- which is what democracy is- to take them away- just because the electorate wants to take those rights away.

If > 50% of the people want to take a right away from everyone involved, including themselves, it can't be that fundamental.
