That is what they are afraid of. That is part of what is behind the stuff about Obama and all. They started the "just making it up" attacks to try to counter the growing mound of evidence of systematic corruption that was building up. Their only hope is to brew up as much dirt as they can, even if they have to make it up, so that any investigations seem like pure partisanship and Democratic attempts to smokescreen their own corruption.

I'm looking forward to the next two years. I imagine, just given the crap that's been revealed by a very few decent Republican leakers, the Dems will uncover some real horrors. "Republican" may become synonymous with crime, slime, secrecy and ideologically-driven incompetence.
