Here is an interesting piece:
en.wikipedia.org

I guess my other question would be what if we stop the human produced greenhouse gasses from fossil fuels and we still get warmer, back to where we used to be... Tough issue... I guess I'm not convinced puny man can really stop it if it is a natural phenomena.

One of the biggest problems that will come out of global warming is that we have fragmented the ecological systems that under normal circumstances would allow flora and fauna to migrate along as its preferred habitat shifts physical location. Add in the current rate of climate change, much faster than than in the past except during catastrophic events like giant meteorites and volcanic super-eruptions which caused enormous waves of extinctions, and you have a recipe for ecological disaster.

Turning to human beings, add in the proportion of the earth's population and infrastructure that resides within 10 metres of sea level and hence is likely to be flooded and the picture gets very very ugly.

Aladdin, you are kidding right-lol?

"It doesn't really answer any questions though... Even the mosquito example!! OK but if it is warmer and dryer then we get less mosquitoes too..."

OK, Aladdin are you ready-lol? How about flooding most of the east coast of the US and Florida, New orleans, and many countries Bangladesh, Holland, etc.

A few islands in the Pacific ocean are already kapuut.

We have built our social infrastructure, cities, etc, around present sea levels and didn't take into account a huge rise in sea levels.

Rebuilding those suckers though will use a lot lol metals-lol.

It's not the mosquitos down south you should be worried about,...it's the flying fortress whoppers from up north that suck your dog dry in one sitting that could pose a bigger problem

:-[)

Global warming will just give the Northern buggers more time to breed and fly down south to Toronna.

Some of the worst mosquitoes I ever was attacked by were in Canada north of Lake Superior. I don't know if there are any diseases that the species living there carry, but you don't need a very warm climate to have mosquitoes. Also had bad mosquitoes at elevation 7,000 feet in the Cascades--not everywhere but locally near springs.

But like you I have begun to wonder if maybe the advantages of global warming should be considered. I hate the idea of its happening, but it may be too late to avoid.

Meantime, as a uranium investor, I hope nuclear comes back in a big way, of course.

Toronto 18 degrees and reports of mosquito bites are coming in. Beware if you show too much skin in our tropical Canadian winter
