Well, you're right, of course. Big Brother thinks he needs to look out for us. Just watch how this attitude will accelerate now that Pelosi's in charge. OTOH, have you taken a look at the average American, especially the teens? WE ARE HUGE! I had to wait the other day at a red light near a high school. Watching the kids file past on their way to McDonalds across the street was appalling to realize how fat most of them are. Lunch another day in a buffet restaurant. Nearly everyone in that place was 50 lbs (or more) overweight. All ages, too.
