Listening to NPR at lunch...Antarctic ice cap is about 2 miles thick at its thickest and 1 1/2 times the area of the USA. If it melts, oceans raise about 60 meters. Southern hemisphere climate change lags northern by 3 or 4 decades because of the much larger ocean surface area which moderates temps. This should give you an idea where the new ocean front property line will be!!!

"Could get might wet as russet mentions if the sea rise prevents the St-Lawrence from flowing east."

Lake Ontario is 276 feet above sea level. Life on the planet will be vastly different before the St-Lawrence stops flowing east.
