Democrats seem to think that their razor thin majority won by razor thin margins gives them some kind of mandate. What it really shows is that the Democrats offer nothing more and the voters know it. Even if they are unhappy with Bush, they don't see how the Democrats are an improvement.

Democrats would do better to act the same way Republicans should: That nobody is too sure about them anymore.
