...completely different lives based on the top-down repression of the government. Something like 30 % of North Koreans are actually "in on" the deal in North Korea from what I've read. It's unlikely a much smaller minority could really build a durable dominance in any sizeable country. Mainland China is clearly run by a bunch of authoritarian communist cock suckers, but it has been working there as long as I can recall. The sad fact is Bush and his right wing scumbags are in alignment with a fair percentage of Americans, and it's you who should wake up to this fact. It doesn't take an absolute political majority to control things in a country, even an "open society" like we have in the US. As long as these people control the media and the economy, they can feed any line of bullshit they want to the public mostly get away with it, and it'll be swallowed hook line and sinker. Look at the popularity of Fox Fictional News for example.
