When we lived in Basalt there was an awful lightning storm. We were sitting in the living room and heard a loud.....very loud......bang. When we went outside to see what happened, the cotton wood next to the house had been hit and was splintered all over the place. Luckily it did not hit the house, but we thought the world was over when we heard that noise.

I'll be thinking about you and crossing my fingers.
