JCP, > 70% of Americans can benefit from the capital gains exemption on their primary residence if they've lived in it for two years. Of course. All they have to do is sell their home and move. Too bad they'll need all of their gains to afford the next home they move into, given today's lopsided real estate market. It's all about who's left holding the bag. Like Steve said, "Liberal logic."
