I'm a born again in many respects. However, I try to be mindful about my religious practice as it pertains to yoga, christianity, buddhism or whatever set of religious beliefs I am practicing for myself. Free will does not give me the ability to think for other people, much less make decisions for them. That is why I find there to be an inherent contradiction to God loving Christians that want to set standards for other people. And just because I am tolerant of other people's preferences, doesn't mean that I want any part of their alternative lifestyle. It's only for them to enjoy as part of their own life practice.

Christians need to learn from other religious practices that encourage mindfulness and meditation, like yoga or Buddhism. Same goes for Muslims and Jews. Religious freedom should be about encouraging a pluralistic respect for many different cultures, not secularizing society into a mutually disrespectful attitude towards religion.
