Well, I"m a big fan of .45 and all the magnums....but I also carry a 9mm with 147 gr truncated round nose match ammo.....this load will fully penetrate a body and will do all the damage necessary to shut down an advance. As I get older I lean towards placement over hydrostatic shock.....and capacity....I like capacity. My IMI hold 17 and that's a nice feel. My kimber is still what I would want if I knew....for sure...that I was going to have an encounter....I'd just carry more mags. On 2nd though..I"d want my Browning 12 with the short barrel and no plug.....with some slugs and some small buckshot. Shootie
