Whoever it was, a long time ago, who referred to TV as a vast wasteland got it right. I watch so little TV I don't deserve to have a set. Yet, I have three of the things. During football and baseball season I usually have the same game on all 3 sets. That way I can wander around the house doing "things" and not miss much. When I hear the roar of the crowd, I stop what I'm doing and watch the rerun. I can't imagine people having so few other interests to allow them to sit down and watch something like The View. Get a life!!!
