Jlallen, re: "ROFL!!!

In this year of "changing strategy" I note your new hit and run posting. You've apparently changed your response strategy from "You're an [xxxx]" to "ROFL." ...NICE CAPS,

I should have seen it coming with the number of rofl's you were tossing out there...but I digress. I remember when the US/Iraq war was just beginning and you had a lot to say about army men, like yourself, and how that mark of distinction added weight to the gung ho opinions you so freely offered.

You were a "disabled veteran" and so noble too. When questioned about your combat experience and whether your disability was from wounds received in action all you'd offer was: "Those who've been there rarely talk about it." That certainly conjured up some John Wayne images. Was it Cobalt Blue who rode so gallantly to your defense and affirmed that you'd been wounded in action, or maybe it was KLP, I forget? But you simply sat by quietly offerring that noble, self depreciating refrain: "Those who have been there don't talk about it."

Imagine the chagrin of your many fans when a few months later it slipped out that your service in the military had been as a lawyer. For a long time you became my "Attorney Action Hero," right up there on the shelf with the George Bush Action Figure in his cute little pilot's outfit. But I've gotten past that. In fact, after reviewing the substance and quality of your posts I'm beginning to wonder if you made up that attorney thing too. But I digress again.

I simply wanted to let you know that your progression from posting statements addressing actual issues, to posting one liners, to posting one worders, to posting just the beginning letters of words is encouraging. Soon you'll stop posting congratulatory "ROFL"ing responses to posts asking for blow jobs and simply post ( ).

We all find our level. Ed
