What happened 30 years ago, is ABSOLUTELY relevant. US Marines were massacred 24 years ago, and THAT is important too!! Dont expect those massacres to go unanswered; the BUSH doctrine is alove and well, and is on the move in 2007!

Iran is a mess right now because of Bush. What happened 30 years ago is not really relevant. However is you want to go back and study history, notice the Shah was asking to be deposed long before Carter came into power. He was acting like a dictator and flaunting itn in his peoples faces. It's the same old story. Plus, Carter could do little or nothing to stop the Shah's fall. What dod Reagan do? Reagan actually sent arms to Iran. So there. The US hasn't spoken to Iran since the invasion by Iran of the American embassy in 1979. The US has been at war with Iran since 1979, or rather Iran declared war in 1979, the US president was too stupid to do anything about it. Iran supports any attacks on the US and the only reason they supported the US on 9/11 is so the US would not decide they were behind it. Iran has had huge income since 1979, all spent on bombs and murder, and you defend them. In a better world, you would be guilty of sympathizing with the enemy and shot. It would be an improvement.
