We know there is a daily slaughter in Iraq that fits your definition of terrorism. After establishing the terrible daily toll of terrorism you pull back from drawing any conclusions -- I suggest that you are unable to accept the conclusion that the US invasion of Iraq set the stage for a huge spike in terrorism in Iraq but did not in any way prevent terrorism from visiting the US. Further, I suggest that there is no lack of evidence to support this conclusion, only a powerful predisposition on your part to hide from the stark reality that invading Iraq did not help us stop terrorism while unleashing an enormous surge in terrorism in Iraq. This is something you just cannot bring yourself to face -- that is my view of what you have said on this thread
