It is funny, because it's a patently obvious attempt to discredit anybody who doesn't worship at the altar of Algorism.

If you don't believe that Algore is the Second Coming, then you're a poorly educated nincompoop.

Contrarywise, I would suggest that, if you're interested in teaching to the topic of climate change to high school pupils, go to actual scientists rather than politicians.

There was a member of Congress who also says the Earth is 14,000 old. I should look that up and see what committees he's on [if he was re-elected].
