come on man, we live on a planet 5 BILLION years old. Temperatures have been kept for what 100-250 years??? what if there is a 1200 cycle, a 5000 year cycle a 150,000 cycle. come on man THINK

That really is not a very scientific answer.

Inside long term trends there can be extreme up and down fluctuations.

We certainly don't have sufficient data about anomalous fluctuations to be certain of anything when it comes to weather.

We do have sufficient data to suggest that scientists being human will insert and omit data if it means they can get a plum research grant or be interviewed on morning television.
