What do you do about the teacher that is competent and does his or her work, but doesn't inspire his or her students? Seems I would need you to define "inspire students". I think it's already been mentioned politics can't be discussed creating the environment where history isn't taught. Kinda hard to teach the value of money with kids driving up in Escalades. There is a guy in my cohort. Great guy.......with a couple of beers under his belt, he can be funny as hell. Very bright......very responsible......really nice. However, when he is sober he is as dull as a rock.......he puts me to sleep. His subject is physics. I imagine his students will be pretty bored with the possible exception of those students whose passion is physics. They might get into it. What would you do about a teacher like that?
