The light mac sales remind me why I am not 100% long this company, I can't use a mac to get on to my internet web site for work, so I have to use pc products. I sure with they would stop making excuses why they can't make a web browser that works on all web sites.

the inability for apple to break into the corporate computer (and small biz) market has always been the reason apple has been seen as a niche player...(although a very big one)

i think the upside potential in the consumer market is great, however...

unfortunately, price point is very important in that segment

i just paid approximately $3000 for my macbook pro...for personal use....frankly, i did so out of my total frustration with msft vista delays and i needed a new notebook NOW.......

i'm not purchasing apple for business because of software compatibility issues....

they changed their name from apple computer to apple, inc.

there might be more to that name change than meets the eye
