I would love to hear why losing in Iraq would be in the national interest.

I do not think that question enters their pea brains.

And I would also love to hear Democratic leaders respond to these poll numbers. But I won’t hold my breath.

It's a stupid question. They should ask

1- Do you want the coalition to succeed in Iraq? and
2- Do you approve of President Bush's plan for Iraq announced last week?

and see what you get. You're going to get 95% yes to #1, and 95% no to #2.

The Most Depressing Poll Ever

Posted by: Dean Barnett
TownHall Blog

In the latest Fox News poll, just out today, the pollsters asked the following question:

Do you personally want the Iraq plan President Bush announced last week to succeed?

If Democrats and Republicans voted "no", its because they have had enough with those of you who are war mongerers........who get us into these messes that cost a fortune both in lives and money. We will do nada to encourage you.

But this latest move by Bush is not going to work just as his invasion hasn't worked from the get go. But you all are in complete denial and refuse to accept what has been obvious for years now.......

And if you want to know depression.....try having known this war was a big mistake from the very beginning and have to sit there and watch the mess play out.......witnessing the killing and maiming of many fine Americans and watching the bill as it slowly creeps up over a 1/2 trillion dollars. That's depression of the first magnitude!

And if you want to talk about depression some more.......how's this.....watching a friend's brother who after two tours in Iraq isn't allowed to pick up his new born child for fear he will go into one of his fugues and drop the baby. He's 25 and his life is seriously screwed up.

Bottomline: You all didn't know what you were doing and fell flat on your collective faces. Now its time to step aside and let the adults take over.
