Did you forget already? That nut case violated all 19 conditions of the 1991 UN Peace Accord, we had to enforce it and remove him... then we had to stabilize the country after his removal, it's only the right thing to do...

It is most definitely a benefit to our national security, a more stable ME is clearly in our best interest...
