I don't think it matters much. Even a limited strike would mean war, so might as well take down as much of their threatening assets as we can. Which is not to say this is a smarter solution, long term.

I have a hard time believing that Bush will attack Iran. He has to know the kind of reaction it would provoke. The resulting consequences may well be pretty dire for him.
