"To claim that price is the only factor that controls demand is simply an error." No one said that. "I said that sometimes a increase in price can cause an increase in demand." How 'bout a relevant example? And not one where something else offsets (or causes the consumer to ignore) the negative effect of price, either. Surely you understand the difference.
