She will try to shed the DLC image in the primaries and will try to make it as difficult as possible for Obama and Edwards to outflank her to the left. Or to try to make them sound shrill if they do so.

Once she finishes tacking right and tacking left then tacking back to the center, many folks will end up wondering what she stands for, myself included. The machine angle comes in because she will raise a mountain of money and tie up a lot of the top Dem advisers, but what will the message be apart from an inexorable Borg-like inevitability to her being nominated?

She misses the sizzle. And I disagree that high negatives are just an opportunity to improve. Sounds like wallowing in a ditch full of mud is a chance to get clean, while strolling by high and dry on the road above is a weaker position. I would disagree.
