American Spirit...Unless Kerry's wife is going to finance his campaign, he will be out of money before Iowa. The only reason he got financing in 2004 was that he was considered the only option to Dean. In 2008 there will be a LOT of options and Kerry won't be one of them. Maybe the South won't vote for a woman or a black, but the Blue States seem pretty open to the idea. But, if you're right that only a "strong white man" can get the nomination, then I'd have to figure either Richardson or Dodd.
