Kerry has already made up his mind. He's running. But thanks to the White House's pre-emptive smear attack on him right before the election, and Hillary's people helping Bushies, Kerry has had to put off his announcement for a month or two. Kerry hasn't changed his mind on a single issue in about eight years. Except for one thing, he's learned the hard way that Bushies are not just slippery and corrupt, they're outright political criminals who will do or say anything regardless of how unethical it is. Gore didn't find that out until after Florida was called for GW Bush. Sure Gore has loosened up, he's not politically ambitious anymore. He's enjoying life. He's the king of his pet cause, global warming. he has a great lifestyle and doesn't have to work too hard. So he's probably not running. Unless the anyone but Hillary crowd rejects everyone else and there's a big vaccuum at the top nine months from now for him to step into. But one thing you can count on, neither Hillary nor Obama will be the Dem nominee.
