I agree and think there is movement on both sides.

One of the few things I respect the Rep party for doing over the last 15 yr. period is to make a big fuss about abortion and sharpen people's thinking. It has put a big dent in the cavalier attitude the public had had toward abortion.

Get rid of capital 'punishment' - state sponsored murder - first. Second, fund the basics of a good and decent life such as national health care. Third, stop going into wars of choice.

The argument about pro and anti choice isn't about the morality or ethics of life, it's about authoritarianism and blatant hypocrisy. When anti-choice goes hand-in-hand with capital punishment and war and general thuggishness, it's clear what the anti-choice crowd is really about.

Anti-choice is not pro-life it's pro-birth. Right after birth said baby can starve to death for all the anti-choice crowd cares.
