Get rid of capital 'punishment' - state sponsored murder - first

That's how I vote. I'm at least consistent!

Second, fund the basics of a good and decent life such as national health care

One must be careful here, you can't simply declare wealth. I don't like either Rep or Dem approach in general. BTW, Bush's proposal regarding insurance & taxes is a step in the right direction, though many bash him for it. IMO, it is one freaking crime that the current system treats the tax consequences of medical insurance so differently simply based on who the payer is: If a company or a self-employed person pays it, it is deductible, but if the employee pays it no luck. Where have the stupid Dems been all these years, certainly not helping the cause of the uncovered working stiff. The current system is a stellar example of the Rep approach to giving the rich a fat tax break while screwing the poorer workers, yet when Bush belatedly starts (imperfectly) to address this, the Left yells. Come on!

Third, stop going into wars of choice.

Thats how I vote.

Anti-choice is not pro-life it's pro-birth. Right after birth said baby can starve to death for all the anti-choice crowd cares.

Perhaps extreme, but it can certainly go without immunizations and die that way.

Dems cavalier about abortion.

Reps cavalier about warfare.

Both cavalier about capital punishment, in my experience.
