<America you've been slandering for years? The America you whose loss in VN you celebrated on this thread? The America you desire to lose in Iraq and Afghanistan?>

America lost the war in Vietnam -- that is simple fact. America lost the war. And along the way millions of people were killed. We pursued a military victory where there wasn't one to be had. The war and its aftermath were truly a horror and a blight on the history of mankind. People said never again would we wage a war that had no possibility of being won. Never again would we wage war to make a political statement. Never again would we wage war against a people that posed no threat to us and had not attacked us. Then came Iraq. Then came the lies. Then came the invasion and the killing -- and the torture -- American torture. And the secret prisons. And the illegal wiretapping. And the endless river of blood, the killing, the excuses, the hundreds of billions of dollars down a rathole. And all the time the prospects of the terrorists were enhanced by our invasion -- an invasion that helped them and did us no good. An invasion that helped Iran and set the stage for their dangerous gambit to develop nuclear weapons in the face of our tragic military and political mistakes. And then came you -- a person so wrapped up your your own ideological BS that you have the nerve to call me anti-American.
