I hope you're right. My fear is that by the time such an amendment could be passed (a multi-year process), it will be too late, and there may not be a Constitution to amend. From what I've seen, our politicians will contine with business as usual until the horse has run itself to death, and then try to place the blame elsewhere.

But I hope you're right and I'm wrong.
