Hi PatrickOn the other hand with record levels of private equity LBO's and mergers ,there may well be a bid on the market as it is valued and therefore very little volatility.

Patrick, a volatility has been picking up in the FX market and US Bond Market, typically a precursor to a sell off in equities. The volatility picked up markedly in the currency market in the two months preceding May 10 2006, the spring top before the last global selloff.

The credit environment is deteriorating, which is bearish for stocks.
