Against the Great Satan? Iran has had more than a generation of the US being the greatest evil in the universe. And the present Iranian government stood up to them, and they blinked. Now granted, that is a rather distorted description of what happened, but there aren't a lot of competing viewpoints.

That's true. In fact, recently it was reported there were demonstrations.....people claiming to be unhappy with his rhetoric. Iranians are fairly well educated and they want democracy. I can't believe they are buying into his provocations.
