Ichy, Many canadians get real sanctimonious about the Cuba thing - its kind of become how they show their independence, but does the opposite. Basically the message is you have to trade with the US or you are poor. No Americans run campaigns telling Canada who they have to do business with - its kind of your own affair. I notice you skip over the police state thing, the political prisons, summary executions etc. Yes its all altruistic as Canada practices food for beaches. Next you will defend Mussolini and Hitler for making the trains run on time or Mao for ending famine in China (after a suitable culling of undesirables)... John btw with regular flights - exactly how many refugees does Canada take from Cuba? Answer - None -> Canada does not recognize Cuba as a refugee-producing state
