Balles strikes me as an extremist and something of a nutcase.
His *credentials* as an English professor and person
who resided in the Middle East for 35 years aren't
particularly impressive either, at least as background
for the assessments he purports to make.

Since you linked his article, I have to conclude you share his views or at least approve of him.

In that one he explains how he did some research in
psychology so that he could make a diagnosis. Then he goes on to explain about arrogance....
